Does the gen Panerai Regatta use a swiss 7750?

Are all 7750 the same. Beacause the ones I see forsale have the date & day wheels on them. Can I just buy the 7750 and remove those wheels? Is that what Panerai does?

The answer is no.

Anyhow, which Regatta do you mean?

I'm not sure if a 7750 can be built with the flyback feature or not. However, I can tell you that Panerai isn't making any in-house chrono movements (yet), so chances are it's base is an off-the-shelf ETA/Valjoux chrono of some sort. Sorry that's not much help.

Not looking for flyback mode but it is probably off the shelf 7750? Maybe?

Well, the watch you are asking about IS a Flyback chrono. Can you tell us what you're trying to accomplish? That might help get you the answer you are looking for. Are you looking to swap a Swiss 7750 into a rep? Are you looking to mate a gen Regatta chrono dial with a movement? Something else entirely?

Well, if the rep uses the Asian 7750, I think the sub-dials are spaced the same as the ETA/Valjoux 7750, so yes. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...
