does genuine planet ocean case back fit 45mm ultimate rep

just been looking at the 45mm ultimate planet ocean and wondered if the genuine case back would fit as ofrei.com sell lots of omega spares

Yes it does. There's a recent franken build on RWG about it.

Does the 2824 rotor hit the caseback though? It might not but because the case is thicker but on the gen 2531 bond's it would be too thin.

When I talked to Paul (watcher), he didn't mention fitment issues or anything of the sort. I'm under the assumption that it does fit properly.

I didn't know that about the 2531, R2! Good thing, I was planning on a small side project with it but I guess I'm better off getting a used gen.

It fits fine on the UPO, but I had to lose the dust/anti-magnetic cover. Seems to seal very well, but haven't had it pressure tested yet.

Well at least it fit after that. That cover is nice but a gen case-back is much nicer.
