Ordered with Puretime recently and had received email saying it was being sent on the Saturday 29th just a day or so before the national holiday. So I was wondering if it's very likely that my package is stuck in China until holiday end? Shipping should be with EMS.

Yes and no.
Yes, Chinese people take their holidays seriously; so most likely they don't do much during holidays.
No, if there was no holiday, your package will still be stuck in Chinese dock/port for about a week or so regardless. This could be waiting for the next flight or shipment to the country destination, or it could be the Chinese customs have not inspected the outbound packages which include yours.

It would be stuck in a Chinese dock/port for about a week or so regardless? How do you come up with that? The estimation for my country was 7 days (no holiday) and most people I see posting say that their purchases turn up almost exactly a week later

Yes, most people get their package delivered on time, but many of us are unlucky and have to wait few days longer.
Oh wow that sucks. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait it out. Thanks for the informative response.

Yep, I had to wait for that package about 25 days after payment.
You'll get used to it after buying rep from Chine a few times.
Wow I usually get my stuff in 3-5 days
OP - did you pay for EMS express? It very well could be due to the holidays. Superbuy had a notice up saying to expect a delay from Oct 1 - 7.
Yeah, "Express with track & trace". It has only been a few days since they told me they were going to send it anyway (Saturday), I was just hoping to receive it this week but probably won't until next week.

I also got confirmation of shipping on saturday, pretty sure it's coming next week based on previous orders. Probably not gonna get the tracking number until they return from holiday though
You're in the same boat as me then, I don't have a tracking number yet either. Praying for early next week!
I received a tracking number on 9/26 but my order has not been received by DHL and I have not been getting responses from PureTime. Last respond was on Sept 29 stating “need to wait for a few days. Because the package was checked strictly in Hong Kong now. Hope you can understand it.”

They are on holiday till october 7th so we are just gonna have to be patient until then. I am sure everything will be resolved once they return
No the EMS is not shut down for 7 days, if it was shipped on 29th and it should be actually get out of Chine on like 4th October, please email [email protected] and we will check for you when we are back from holiday, thank you.
