Does anyone wear his Royal Oak offshore without the case back?

I wonder if you could 3D print a plastic insert that fit snug where the caseback was and sit flush. Remove the rotor as well.

This was actually my first rep. It's a beautiful color scheme, but after I learned of the date window tell on the 42mm ROOs I stayed away from them.

I honestly would like a report back to see how the movement is surviving exposed to the elements.

As far as the rep itself, I had a few of these over the years, stock and modded. My favorite was the safari, but even with the tachy shave and case thinning I could never really bond with it as I knew it was still off vs genuine (pushers vs crown, etc) so I moved on from the AP reps. I am debating the new superclone ap 26240, but I digress.....

I ALSOOO wear my royal oaks without the bezel and casebacks actually.

Yes it is VERYY common to wear them like this.

I make sure to keep the crystals atached with some duct tape and this is actually very visually appealing since everyone knows it's a rugged watch and should be treated like so.

When I go swimming with them like this, there is actually 5M water resistance as duct tape is water resistant, even better than genuine spec but I always make sure I screw the crown in fully and give it extra protection with some vaselube (TM) just in case the pushers arent water tight from the factory.
