Does all gen straps come with tubes?

Hi folks, bought on eBay an Gen Dark Brown Aligator Strap - PNMX005FN0 - https://www.panerai.com/gb/en/accessories/straps-and-bracelets/mx005fn0.html
I got all the paperwork but the strap is stiff and does not have tubes. I never had a real croc strap so I'm concerned if it is authentic.

Does all gen come with the metal tubes?

I bought a gen strap directly from Panerai, it didn’t come with tubes.

Tubes are an extra cost item introduced by after market sellers.

Toshi straps has a write-up on the tubes that provides some insights on when tubes should be used and not used.

I ordered more tubes than I will ever need off Amazon for less than $20. Note they come in 24mm and 26mm, so check your lug size before you order.
