A friend of mine is looking for a PAM with following characteristics:
- stainless steel case, 44 mm or 45 mm
- black sandwich dial
- small seconds at 9
- Automatic
- No-date(!)
-ideally Radiomir with wire lugs (no must)

I'm not a PAM expert by any means. So had a look around, asked ChatGPT and couldn't find a model that fits the bill.

Any ideas?

PAM 572 or PAM 674 should fit the bill. No wire lugs though and I don't think there are any accurate reps of it due to the micro rotor movement used in these. The P.4000.

PAM183 comes to mind, but it's a handwind, not automatic.

Yes, PAM 183 was the one I found. As you say, no automatic.

Thanks, will check whether I can find a rep of these.

Usually for Panerai the following meme is true:
> Automatic winding
> No date complication
Pick one!

Then they created the P4000 to fit it in small size cases but it's a rare exception!

Thanks. I leave it to my friend to decide if he wants to make compromises. Otherwise he has to go gen.

I talked to Belkin first. He doesn't work with automatic movements.

Makes me want to get one myself. Unfortunately these beauties are too large for me. Would love a rep of the PAM337.

Belkin doesn't work cases smaller than 44 mm, too.

I have a 16,5cm wrist.
If you go for a Destro model like mine, it wears nicely

An update on the outcome of the search: as there was no rep of a PAM with the specifics my friend wanted, he changed his mind to what he really was looking for: a vintage 6497. And who's better to build one than the fab Belkin?

Here's a pic of the beauty.
