...that you look at your wrist to check the time, and instead you just start staring at how pretty your watch is.

You put you arm down only to realise you don't know what the time is.

So you look again and put your arm down only to realise you STILL haven't got a clue what the time is?

Eventually you think "**** it, I'll just look at my phone" !!!!!

Or am I the only weirdo here?

No I've done this a bunch.

Sometimes when it's my 111, I even end up taking the watch off and staring at the open case back

And then my friend who originally asked me the time says "Dude what the **** are you doing?? What time is it"

Looking at the watch can pose health hazards. I often drive with my arm out the window, this way I can look at my watch in the outside mirror. At 70 mph this can be a dangerous thing. Weird and dangerous

Quite normal, I am wearing my newly acquired Orange monster, and do the same, its a thing of beauty, and I actually like it much more than I thought I would, it wears just right, and its profile on the wrist is stunning.

I look at my watch to see if the seconds hand runs. If yes (all the times) I lower the arm.
Then I lift the arm again to read the time.
and sometimes I look again to see if there no invisible hairline.....

Okay...........okay, yes I do frequentley check my wrist, especially when wearing my Panerai 002, just a plain face to look at and admire.

Man, this is like an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting................... " my name is Phil and I like watches"

Happy now? :drinks_cheers:

Haha exactl what's happening to me every f'ing day for at least ten times. I would say I do it only when I wear my favourites but no, I do it all the time + my collection reached the point when pretty much all of them are my favourites. :/ I think we are all crazy here.

Apparently alot of others can relate to this.. Was thinking I'm completely insane and weird when just lifting my arm and checking my watch for like 5 minutes and getting my polishing cloth out every hour or something around that.. :lmao:

No, you're quite normal. I've learned, however, to not admire my watch while I'm DRIVING. Bad Karma here!!

I love it when I look down and see a watch that works...
So worried about these automatics being all sensitivo can't even take a little knock without needing a 3 month service. But then you can't get a lot of these watches without automatic movement. Oh welll.

Today, luminox f-22 raptor, amazingly gorgeous
