Do they rep these cartiers?

Does anyone know if they rep the 1) Cartier Rotonde Jour et Nuit or 2) The XL Roadster?

I'm in love with Cartiers now and want them all!

Lots of Roadster reps out there, but, as far as I know, they're all the standard size (38mm). I haven't seen a rep of the XL (which is about 43mm, I believe). I'd be very surprised to see a Rotondes rep, because the movement is extremely complicated and not really that easy to rep. Beautiful watch, though. Have you looked at the Ballon Bleu? Visually, it's scary accurate to the gen.

They make three sizes-- a lady's size (26mm); a mid-size (about 36mm); and a large size (42mm). Trust me-- the 42mm is not going to be too small. It actually wears closer to a 44m because of the integrated design of the crown guard. Thing is massive. My wrists are 6.5", and I can't wear the 42mm.

Also, they make two versions-- a cheapo 21j and an ETA. Same watch except for the movement. Speaking from experience, it's worth getting the ETA. The factory making the 21j version had some serious QC problems, with the result being that there are a lot of dead 21j movements on the Ballon Bleus.

King's site lists a Ballon Bleu that's 39mm, with "Asian 2892"... is the measurement incorrect? And is the movement just a regular 21J asian? http://kingwatches.net/CARTIER-121.htm

I want one of these, but 42mm is too big for my 6.25" wrist... 36mm might be ok, but I want an auto, not quartz.

I don't know if my 8.5" wrists can rock a 42mm. I need at least 46. We'll see though.

It's refreshing to see Cartier being mentioned I'm honestly tired of hearing only about Breitling, Panerai, Rolex and Hublot... :|

My dad has about 8.75" wrists, and he had a really hard time finding a good dress watch for his wrists. He looked at the IWC FA Jones and the Cartier Santos 100. He finally settled on the two tone Ballon Bleu, and he loves it. Looks really good on him, too. Very proportional. Again, the 42mm size is a little misleading. It wears closer to a Luminor (although certainly not as thick).

And Swissaddict-- if I were you, I'd go mid-size. The 42mm really will look too big on your wrist. If you can't wear a 44mm Luminor, you can't wear a 42mm Ballon Bleu. I don't think they make an automatic mid-size, but I'm not 100% sure. I'd check out tonyxkf on http://www.rolex2u.com/cartier--watches--24--0--0.html. He's a good dealer (albeit mainly in lower end stuff). He has the largest slection of Ballon Bleus that I've seen. And trust me on this-- between the 21j and a quartz, you should definitely go quartz. Of the five 21j 42mm Ballon Bleus I've ordered, 4 of them have gone back to the dealer with bad movements. And it's the same problem on each watch-- it'll work OK for about two hours, then stop completely, then start up again. Which leads me to believe that it's a problem direct from the factory.

Wait... so rolex2u.com is safe?

They're fine. I wouldn't order any high end stuff from them, but they're reliable as far as it goes. Tonyxkf has been around for a long time, and he's a good dealer. Good communication and he stands behind his watches. Again, his primary focus is lower end stuff, but it also means he carries a lot of stuff that the other dealers don't. And be sure to haggle with him. You can probably get any of his $100 to $110 watches for between $70 to $80, and that includes shipping.

Sweet! Thanks for the tip. :)

It seems all the cartiers I want are out of stock.

1. the 'normal' sized Santos with SS bracelet
2. The Pasha (not the seatimer)

:(
