Do these damn things work?

Or do I have to buy a big boy demagnetizer? It doesn't seem to be helping what I am pretty sure is a magnetized movement

I don't see why it wouldn't work. Test it on a small piece of steel like a small nail or something. Magnetize it first and confirm it's magnetized, then demagnetize it with your device and test it.

thanks. I keep using it on a movement but my phone's gaussmeter app ( ... I know...) acts like a Geiger counter at Chernobyl when i get close to it.

I hook up the movement to the timegrapher and it looks like it is snowing inside it...

i will try the nail experiment
