DLC Deployant?

I have the Avenger II GMT DLC on nylon and am considering a deployant strap for it instead. I found something on Etsy that I think might work but was wondering if any of you have tried this black clasp before and your general thoughts on it (quality, match to the DLC case, etc)

I’ve bought that one before. It’s a gloss black paint(?) on the steel, not a DLC coating. The paint is sticky and attracts everything. Regardless of price I would not recommend it. Also the rubber/nylon strap is funky. The rubber is too thin, as is the nylon. It flexes where it shouldn’t. In spots the rubber is somewhat translucent. I still have a couple in my drawer that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

Agreed, its a glossy black PVD / Paint finish and not brushed. Wont match the DLC coating on GF reps. The link below has the same clasp, but in a brushed finish.
Also, skip that nylon / silicone strap, ive had 3, all a disappointment.

I like the brushed option better, thank you ... ok so the rubber/nylon strap is out. Guess this will go on the Diver Pro 3 style rubber like my SO2 since there doesnt seem to be a good nylon option out there

The brushed option is definitely the better one out of the two. Did you consider the Classic Aero or the Diver Pro II as potential options?

They all come from the same factory I believe. Ask the seller for some RL pics. The ones posted usually have the contrast bumped up so a lot of details are lost. Just note that these clasps are smaller / shorter in length compared to the gen.

this cheap deployant is bad, sometimes they self open. i almost lost watches. Better if you invest to GF black dlc claps, you will be happy for loooong time

I bought it with a rubber strap on Fleabay about 6 months ago. I had a gen at one point and it was a scratch magnet. Surprisingly the rep one holds up better.
