I have a Arf 116234 36mm DJ with a Asian ShangHai Super 3135 Clone Automatic Movement. Looking to replace the datewheel I bought a genuine datewheel said to be for 3135 movement but it does not fit. The teeth on the datewheel are to short. Any suggestions on how to get a better datewheel on this movement?

modifying the calendar plate of the stock SH3135 movement to make a gen 3135 date disc work is painful and doesn't always guarantee successful date flips.
I recommend sourcing a VR3135 or a VS3135 movement, then fit the gen date disc onto it. Both movements should take gen date discs without any problem. I have been having amazing results fitting gen date discs onto VR3135 movements. Also, the VR3135 movement is cheaper than VS3135 movement
