So I'm new to all this and have been doing some reading on why people stay away from gold reps. Makes sense especially if your looking for something to where daily. But I love gold lol. I found this company ahwile ago on YouTube and I'm not supporting them or recomendirec them. I found some bad review on there products online. Not saying there bad but I'm just curious about the potential technique.

Has anyone experimented with gold plating repair? I'm sure if you did this there would be quite a bit of work polishing and matching the grain. But the technique seems simple enough. Or Maybe instead of repairs use it to add a more durable layer of gold?
I'd love to have a nice gold rep but I wouldn't want to be paranoid about one scratch and it's game over.
Any thoughts on this kind of spot plating?
