you should do both of the folowing.

1. contact The dealer and ask about a solution.

2. Wait for their response and don't fiddle with it until you hear from the dealer.

It happened to me on an 005. I had it at the watchsmith to replace a bad crystal. When I got home I notice a loose hand. I was going to take it back anyway, so I opened it. Press the little button and removed the crown and stem and did the fix myself. I like getting into things like that. I was just very careful not to touch the inner crystal and was careful with any dust. Now that I know I can do that I think it is time to relume.

Don't sweat it Michalis, it's not a biggie, really.

See if the person that re-lumed your dial and replaced the hands back on afterwards could do something about, failing that take it to your watchmaker for a fix.

All that needs to be done is to remove (pry-off) the bezel and replace the second hand on top of a very tiny pinion. If you haven't done it by yourself before and don't posses the proper tools, I suggest you don't do it this time either, it's a simple job for someone who's done it before but quite a risk for ones that haven't...keeping in mind all the $$$ you've already spent on getting your 'holy grail'.

cheers,
babola

on a positive note: you now have the best fiddy in the world with no hands.........seriously though, I know how you feel, I received a modded 1950 turned into a vintage Marina Militaire from Davidsen and the minute hand did not advance. To his credit Davidsen stepped up and paid for my repair...now that is service. Good luck with this....I hope all turns out well :)

I've been plagued with one fault after another in my rep journey (see one of my old rant posts) But never EVER had a hand falling off

I second LWA: contact the dealer. Do nothin about it yet.

Worse come to worse, ye'll have ta ship it back

Agree, the only 'issue' with Michalis' Fiddy is that it had been relumed by a 'third party' after sale.

Having a friendly local watchmaker really helps in situations like these :)
