Age arriving, head wear optical magnification is uncomfortable and sometimes not enough

Not ready and no space to have an optical microscope...

Now I am seeing digital microscopes with LED screen on Ali looking pretty decent for 70-100

Anyone uses those?

You need to be careful with the real cheapies- there is not enough room to work between the lens and the platform.

Decent budget scope:

Or let Alex testify for Amscope. 700 bucks...

Dismantled a 7750 today and totally forgot about the thing :ROFLMAO:

Need to use it when a put the movement together again. Don't expect wonders, but it's adequate for the task if you want to save space and money.

You can also view on your computer screen.

I recently received the andonstar 249s-m as a gift. It has a higher working area, a bigger screen, and a second smaller camera that will shoot simultaneously from a wider angle. I think it's about 250usd.

@Pinion Minion Curious if you use the flexible endoscope much or not? I'm about to pull the trigger on one and would appreciate your thoughts having used it for a couple of years.

No love for true Microscopes!!?? :ROFLMAO:

Will never use anything other than my Leica A60. Plenty of working distance, not awkwardly looking at a screen while trying to work, and mag and resolution is amazing.

Although it wasn't $100....
You can get cheaper ones of course. maybe look at those. Way more versatile than a digital with a screen.

Lots and lots of love for those- believe me!

Have been trying to justify the purchase and bench space loss to magnify my fumblings in binocular magnificence for a while now . I've been "focusing" on the Amscope trinocular setup but I'll sure look at Leica now.
