Differences between these 388s??

Also, are either of those considered to be "the best"currently available? By that I mean quality and accuracy (of movement) rather than ability to fool AD's!!

Neither, the best option is the KW Seagull version with non-inverted movement. Best price has Sora at Shinewatch for 238$.

Thanks mate, only dealt with Ryan and it took 7 days, 3 of those were money transfer. Shipping to uk was next day!!!!

This is just my personal preference, but I will always purchase the 7750 version. I'm not sure if the 2555 is better or why its thought to be better. Maybe they are guaranteed to be new since they're so cheap to buy... and an Asian 7750 could be questionable at best. But I prefer the high beat of a 7750 and once properly serviced, I see no reason why the 7750 wouldn't be as reliable if not more than the seagull counterpart. I've torn down both and the seagull has an extra pinion and gear to transfer power to the secondhand, which is probably why I've read about a second hand stutter. But again, this is all just my humble opinion and preference.

The ST2555 is perceived as better from a replication point of view because of the closer placement of the balance wheel @6 relative to the gen's @7 position.
