The fact that one is the grey dial version and the other black dial version!

Looks to me like the more expensive one has the V6F detailed movement and an anthracite sunburst dial, though it's hard to see difference in pics.

Why not message TD and ask?

The man difference is in the movement decoration as is clearly shown in the pictures, dial is more difficult to judge.

So I had both and sold off the old. The frot and bracelet are the same. The back is really close to gen with the unique movement of the rotor coupled with the small gear.. Cool but only an emotional buy cause no one would know the diff but us geeks

...and the blue "column wheel" moves when operating chrono. Cool :)

Hmm, I'm a great IWC Pilot watches fan, but the 1887 with the grey dial and the decorated rotor will be my next one! Fantastic watch!
