Just curious, how everyone feels about the new noob 127 and to lesser extent 217 versus the old Eddie lee version? What do think is better value for the price and what are the main differences? From my understanding the crystal and movement (swiss Unitas) is better on the el version? Opinions would greatly be appreciated!

I'd take the noob.
in a perfect world, I'd take the noob with EL crystal and mvt. the larger balance wheel, despite not being flared spokes, is more accurate, as it is moving most of the time, so the lack of flared spokes is less important than balance wheel diameter, IMO.
