The search feature shows every Pam thread posted forever, so I figured I post this in case it hasn't been posted before.
The Panerai PAM98 GMT Alarm 42mm Radiomir in Stainless Steel is now discontinued and has been replaced with Panerai PAM355. What makes the PAM 98 GMT Alarm so Special:
Made for D-E-F-G-H-I production years in extremely limited production of only 500 pieces per year - total production over the course of 6 years was 3000 Pieces
PAM98 features the Girard Perregaux automatic GMT/Alarm movement. This is the same movement as found in Girard Perregaux Traveler II (also a discontinued model) and IWC GST Alarm, just to name a few other GMT alarm watches sold by other Swiss watch companies under their own manufacture name. Dubey & Schaldenbrand is another company that featured this same movement in their watches. Most of these watches are discontinued and no longer available as this movement has become increasingly more difficult to get in larger quantities, hence the very low production of only 500 pieces per year of the PAM98 GMT Alarm.
Movement Type: Automatic
Features: Alarm, Automatic, Date, GMT, Water Resistant
Movement Details: Time, Date, GMT secondary timekeeping function, and mechanical alarm
Dial Description: Black dial with luminescent steel outlined hour/minute/ hands, luminescent arabic numerals and markers, date display at 3 o'clock, GMT Second Time Zone indicator at 6 o'clock and alarm time on flange of dial.
