Dial Swaps

Forgive my noobness, but if you were to want to do a dial swap for something like a buff meteorite, how would you go about it?

Do you find a local watchmaker to do it? Do you send it to one of the trusted people that offer their services on this forum? Do you do it yourself?

For the meteorite, I would send it to one of the trusted watchmakers here on RWI. I have done it myself. It’s not that difficult, but I have built up my skills over the last few years to get to where I am today. So I guess it depends. In this case where it’s a delicate and expensive piece, I would go with a professional.

Its more advisable to go with a professional because you only need to make a mistake and there goes the dial.
