Dial clarification / chroma or lume

Is it possible to know if a 116710 dial is super luminova or Chromalight using the code on the back dial?

They’re all lume but I think chromalight is just rolexes’ custom version of it. (You won’t find this anywhere except on a modern gen dial and glows bright blue)

Superluminova is a brand name. Rolexes used to use this until they made their own mix lume.


All reps just come with regular lume. They all are about average compared to the expensive stuff (i.e. SuperLuminova)

Not sure if the number of the dial has anything to do with lume though.
