I've been staring at the ZF Fifty fathoms for a while ,but the price isn't pushing me forward to get it. Meanwhile I look on dhgate and they got one that looks good, no idea how bad it is, but I just pulled the trigger and got one anyway for 175.00 delivered pffff .We shall see Anyone get one from the gate? Your thoughts

This actually looks pretty bad..

I'm pretty sure any of the TDs here can get you a nicer economy version with an aian 21j movement for sub 200...

Can you please point out some of the obvious flaws. I'm pretty sure they leave out the Blancpain name in the picture, but it will probably be there on the watch that's what I've seen on other peteks on dhgate that people post. If you know of a TD that has a sub 200 better version let me know.

I already ordered the cheapie..I was just informed by a former TD ,where I've gotten 90% of my watches from with zero issues that the noob version, listed on the NWBIG list, is back in Stock. Tempted to just buy it and do a comparison

The noob price and ZF price isn't all that different. It'd be interesting to see if noob updated their fifty fathoms if it is truly a new batch..

As far as NWBIG lists, I think it is a good starting place but models are constantly updated. I've owned both the ZF and noob variants, if they both have good QC, ZF wins all day..

Just received the watch..looks good EXCEPT for what mgberns had mentioned. Awful bezel lol. I don't know why I can't see these obvious things in pictures. Oh well. Had to try ordering one cheapo from DHgate to see how bad they really are..back to the good ones

Any pictures of the one you received? Was it the same as pictured in post #1? Any lume on the bezel? For comparison, here's my noob v1....

That ZF looks stunning .. I'll have to wait till I'm back in Blighty in Feb to order this one for myself. Can I ask, are you in the Eu and did you wait long for your watch to arrive from your TD? Postage method used..? Cheers
