DHGate is it secure?

Guys, i didn’t know where else to put this topic but I wanted to ask is DHgate safe? I’m looking to buy a relatively cheap watch from it but I’ve been put off by the fact that I can only pay by my card and not through the safety of PayPal.

how do I know that my card details are safe on this platform?

I use a separate credit card with lower limit for AliExpress and DHgate.
I haven’t heard of people having card fraud issues with either, but I’m sure some people have had issues with actually getting the watch they paid for ect.
It’s a gamble. I haven’t had any issues yet.
Check user feedback, pick a reputable seller.

I've use DHGate regularly for about 3 years, and haven't had any issues. That's not to say it won't happen, but it hasn't (so far) to me.

Didn’t have any problems. Just be ware of inexperienced sellers and their score. Must be between 95-100% and at least 100 transactions (bare minimum) imo

For "not so safe" websites I use a back-up Revolut card. In Revolut you can create a virtual CC which you need to top up to purchase anything. So basically a throwaway card with a small limit. No cost at all and is set up in less than 2 Minutes.

Before I learned the revolut virtual CC trick, I used my debit card many times at DHGate and Aliexpress. Not problems whatsoever

Yes, no problems with delivery, it just takes time as they usually send it with regular post.

Where they exactly what I ordered? Yes, I ordered a 75$ watch and got it. Don't expect same quality as with 400$ reps.
