True, probably because it's a quartz.
How much is it again? $17K?

They can be had for around 10k if memory serves correct. They are not a Swiss watch company. They are American if you can believe it. I really like that watch.

Quartz has nothing to do with it. With new CAD and wire drawing CNCs a one of a kind quartz is more impressive than a basic 3 hand "Swiss" mechanical anyday.
