Hi guys,
absolutely loved my PAM 111m noob from pure time as a first time replica buy.
(strange it didn't do much for me on internet I thought I was always an omega sort of a lad< but I listened to some forum advice, and could not of been happy.)

Unfortunately after 2 months it has broke with a small curled wire rattling around - it's no go on the wind, and the engine works shortly when I shake it madly, but the seconds hand does not move.

When I first got it it would not last 12hrs on the wind so I pulled the case back off and tighten the winding gear to level it with the other gear. All was then good (for a while) with a 56hr reserve

Of course I pulled it apart after it broke(crudely) and scratched the rear steel display bezel jigger on the case back thingo!

What should I do? Watch maker availability is low where I am.

Should I just buy the 2012 111N noob. I have the rubber strap (which i actually really like - even though I wanted brown crocodile)

Should I upgrade to the "swiss" movement for $90. (I know some have opinions about this - I have read them, but my std one didn't last long.)

Should I send it somewhere and get it fixed up ?

While I contemplate I'm spending hours looking at the other beatuiful options.

PS I would really like the peace of mind of some water proofing combined with the amazing view i get from the clear display case back when winding.

Best bet would be to pick up a new movement off ebay or from a dealer here, the manual wind movements are easy to work with, so you MAY be able to do it yourself, or post it off to somebody else who can :)

Get a swiss movt mate if you intend to keep the watch for long

A "Swiss" movement on a 111 would look terrible. Get a new watch and sell that one for parts here on the forum. The case and crowngaurd on you broken watch are very desirable at a good price.

Movement and caseback plus a watchmaker to change them will be more than a new watch.

Thanks for the replies, you've confirmed my thoughts -
I'll look for a replacement, and advertise less straps in a few weeks when I get back.
Once again thanks for the direction.
