Giovanni Panerai (1825-1897), founder of the family business, opened the first watchmaker's shop in Florence on the Ponte alle Grazie and established contact with the most prestigious and longest established Swiss watch manufacturers.

thanks - I should probably mention that my rating is based on other replicas available and not on the gen - If I would base it on the gen I would have to give it a 3 and most other replicas would probably get a 2 - 2.5 :wink:

I have to agree with all of the others. That was a great review alot of info and pics. Thank You for taking the time to put that together i'm sure it took a good amount of time but very appreciated.
