Deployment buckle question

So recently I've been wearing my 111 on the rep rubber strap. While I do like the regular clasp I've always liked having deployment clasps when I can. I plan to get a rep Panerai deployment clasp but is there a difference in the straps its made for? Does it require a thinner rubber strap? I've noticed whenever straps are sold they'll specifically say "made for deployment clasps". Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Ideally I'd like to put one on my 111 rubber strap and get one for my rep asso on my 010D

Straps for deployant are thinner and the notch for the tang is wider.

Also, straps for deployant buckles have oval holes for better fitting.

Thanks for the reply. Guess I will pass on the deployment buckle by itself and just wait to get a strap/buckle combo down the line.

You can use the deployant strap with a clasp (since its thinner) but you cannot use a normal strap with a deployant (it won't fit since its fatter).
Radiomirs have 20mm deployants whilst Luminors have 22mm deployant buckles.

+ everything that has been said before.
