deployant clasp on a PO rubber strap - Can it be done?

I've ordered a 20mm PO rubber strap from Narikaa and am already thinking of changing the buckle to a deployant clasp. First of all, can it be done and second, has anyone done it?

I've never been a fan of buckles and it eventually wrecks the strap from being buckled in the same location time after time, but this would be on a rubber strap, so the indentations from the buckle "should" not be as noticeable. But I am still a fan of deployants. I was thinking of a double deployant similar to ones found on the leather Omega straps, or a deployant similar to the Pams.

Anyone?
