Defining "Ultimate"

This question has likely come up several times but I'd be grateful for a little tutorial. At what point do we bring out the word "ultimate"? There's a vendor in Replica sales that's showing a to-die-for Pam Ultimate 088. I would marry that watch if it was single but that's neither here nor there. I've had considerable work done by Goin' to a Pam 111, everything except the swan-neck swiss movement. (he would replace it with a stamped swan-neck). I've spent about 400.00 on top of the 250.00 I've paid for the original so-called high-end rep. Is "ultimate" where you just can't improve it any further? / Follow-up question: can an "ultimate" be further improved by adding franken parts from a gen watch? Where do we draw the line in terms of "mods" where we can rightfully say "ultimate"? Thanks.

ultimate, is the best of the best version of a rep available, almost more accurate than the gen, untill a better version is released! ;) you then have a new ultimate!...and on it goes.
remember the dssd was ultimate when the v2 with ceramic insert was released. now we have the v7...still ultimate ofcourse
