I picked one up for my 417, it seems pretty legit to me. I have genuine asso on my 390, and it feels identical, the back is a little different. If it's not legit, it's still an awesome strap.


I like it better than the normal asso on the 417.

Guy on RG thinks fake, makes a compelling argument. However, to me the quality seems right on compared to my 390's gen asso and nothing like any rep asso I've ever held, so if it is fake, it's a good one, I pm'd the seller on the matter. caveat emptor and all that.

NO NO NO!!! These are fake. Don't buy them!!! They have all the hallmarks of a fake. Crooked stitching, semi-glossy underside, deep impressions of the logo and OFFICINE PANERAI lettering. Do not support this guy.

ive seen used gen Assos go for $90 on Risti

I actully cancel my order this morning. Hangover and buying a rep asso for 74$ wasn't a great start, so I removed one from the equation

FYI, I opened an ebay case with the guy, stated it was a fake, dude immediately refunded everything including shipping. no further correspondence.

Didn't see this thread until now. I just received one from him before NYE. Even if it's rep, it's quality is worth for the Bucks that I paid. But I would like to hear the argument why it would be fake. It's all 115/75 (not a popular size) and once only kind of deal, I wonder how come this guys is still in business if it's rep of such good quality.

Haven't seen them on his website. I bought some straps of that price range off Taobao in China, not even close to the quality of this one here.
