It´s from the 50´s....and is able to go around 11.000m under water =)

at 11,000 meters down the water pressure on the bathysphere Trieste was 9 tons per square inch. The pressure hull of the vessel used 5 inch thick steel plate. It's no wonder the Rolex Deep Sea looked like it did.
It is unlikely that anyone will ever duplicate the feat as after the Trieste was scrapped there was only one other vessel able to go that deep. It was a Japanese ROV and unfortunately they lost it on a dive a few years ago. Hmmmmmmm, wonder if there was a Seiko attached to it :lol:
