Hi all

Just wondered if there would be any interest in having a dedicated EU sales section. I've lost count of the amount of times I've been really exited by a watch for sale only to find out that it's CONUS only. It's also a bit of a pain trawling through all the threads to find the EU sales. I'm sure it's the same for CONUS members. I just thought it would be much easier for everyone. Obviously if we wanted to ship worldwide we could just post in the main sales thread.

What do the rest of you think?

I feel the same way but its always EU only...separate North America/EU.

then again what about the EU/Noth American sales that will ship WW?

It will be very cool if there is a EU location. Because we here in Germany have problems with the costums.

Sounds like a good idea to me.
Main forum for people who will do worldwide, then one for each territory.
Saves looking at watches you have no chance to buy!

Guys. it's all more work for the sales mods if we add more forums.
People are supposed to put any limitations in the title (eg: "Breit SA - a7750. EU only.") but most can not be bothered.

In CONUS so not affected much, but I can see how the overall idea would help EU members.
Col - there is already a field for "location" on the sales form. Is it possible to have that field automatically populate a space in the title bar? That should serve the purpose without adding more forums or more work, and without relying on sellers to put it in their title voluntarily.

Works by just useing the quick preview (i.e. with win7), just pull mouse over the sales thread and you can see/read this information.

It is frustrating when you read a post and the seller is not prepared to ship abroad. Why?

If I have something to sell and the buyer is willing to pay the small amount extra for shipping abroad then they got it.

It's the same on Ebay, there have been watches I'd like to buy but, USA only. Because of this you can't even contact the seller to offer extra for shipping.

The way I figure if you're going to the Post Office anyway it don't matter where the package is going.

Good luck, Phil.

Well that would be the next best thing :)

Agreed Phil, I too get very frustrated when I see a great looking watch thats only for sale in CONUS. Sometimes I feel that us Europeans are being discriminated against LOL.

But seriously, I too cant see why some sellers arent willing to post outside the US when it's the buyer paying the cost and taking the risk??

I agree 100%. A great example would be this watch
http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/bk-tw-best-submariner-16610-75420 If it had been available to UK/EU I would have been all over it like a rash! As long as we're willing to pay the shipping and take the customs risk what is the probem?

LOL funnily enough I was thinking of exactly the same watch myself! Theres been two or three crop up over the last few days and I'd have been biting the sellers arm off if they'd been willing to ship to the UK.
