Gents, I have a 7750 ready to install in a Panerai thanks to numerous members so far. It's a TTF 1312 and needed a service, figured why not mod it. Right?

Originally, I wanted it decorated like the OP.XXX but that's not happening. No problem, P.9010 works until I found out it involves a sticker on the rotor. Wow.

I prefer the look of the newer rotor, can the bearing be changed? What about the balance bridge? A decorated plate cover? What are my realistic options?

I'm well aware I can pickup a gen OP.III rotor and call it a day, that's plan b and I'm hoping for something better. Looking forward to seeing what you got!

This is interesting, a newer rotor on an undecorated 7750. Does look a little off but I like the attempt. Is it easy for a modder to swap out the rotor bearing?

Your best option would be to get a genuine (unlikely to find one) or replica OP III, etc (Panerai has a couple of variants like the GMT, etc) rotor and call it a day. What grade is the ETA 7750 movement you have? The higher grade ones have a nice finish already on the bridges.

I'm able to source a gen OP.III rotor, really hoping for other options but looks like that might end up being the play.

I'm unsure of the grade, it's a Hamilton movement from Energo and currently sitting with Natas78 for eventual install!

Believe it or not, I prefer the look of the more basic graded movements, not a fan of blue screws, pearl decoration, etc.

And to think, this was supposed to be the easier of the two watches to mod. The next one is going to need GMT function!

I'm not going to disagree, would make more financial sense! I'm just looking to build two somewhat custom pieces 🔥

For the GMT the actual caliber is ETA 7754. The ones I've seen for sale are around $700.
