Each one is good in it's own field, so it's kinda hard to say. In terms of accuracy and especially the movement, I'd go with the 212

I have the older, inaccurate, 212 and I love it... wish it had sapphire though.
I'm really starting to want a 359...

Hard decision... I'd have to lean 359 based on the sapphire crystal, the 212 mineral glass leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. If the 212 had sapphire, that would be my choice without question.

In case you couldn't tell... sapphire case crystals are very important to me... I'm somewhat rough on my daily wear watches.

359 for me too. The 212 looks a little bit too busy for me. I love the simplicity of Panerai and the 359 has too much going on. Going by the vote, though, I'm in the minority.

I say 359 because it's the new girl on the block and the build quality is phenonmoal.

In these situations, its all about what one you want FIRST!
