I really love the contrast with the dial and the strap. That's what really attracted me to this watch. This is only my 2nd replica watch and I have a couple of questions. This watch is 44mm, how big should that look on my 9" wrists? I want it to look big. Also, is the manual winding asia movement in this smooth sweeping? And does it last for a long time without issues? Thanks for your help in advance.

I have several Panerai with that movement. From my experience and what I have heard, it should be pretty reliable for you.

Because the second hand is so small, the sweep looks pretty good.

I have about a 7" wrist and the 44mm looks good. On your wrists, it should look fine. Diificult to say if it will look "big"...because people define that differently. PAMs are nice classic looking elegant watches. It should look good.
Edit- the case is 44mm. Add the CG, (the guard over the stem) and it's about 50mm wide.

I have 8.5" wrist, and 44mm looks good. Not big, not small.
This movement will most likely be very reliable and long lasting.

As for why you love the watch - forget it! The rep strap that it comes with will be quite crappy in most cases, and you will be looking for new straps soon. That's about 75% of the draw of Panerai is the pleasure of strapping it.
So look for the WATCH you like and ignore what strap or bracelet comes on it. Then go to Panatime.com or, better yet, contact TooTall or Savage and get some really nice shoes for your new baby!

Just one thing to keep in mind, the xtal shown on those pictures is domed so basicaly incorrect for that particular PAM model.

...but if that doesn't bug you, go for it, at that price why shouldn't you.
