Decent Rubber for 42.5 PO

I am sure this has been asked a thousand times, but I could not locate any previous posts asking the question, so's I'm asking it again:

Who has the best rubber strap for a 42.5 PO. I purchased a couple in the past, but none really hold on to the lug area, and end up folding down, exposing that horrible gap. And the past two I purchased both had a little metal nib in the lug end, which I ended up nipping off.

Is there any advise and or vendor that carries the strap?

I will give Reg a shout. The bands you have, do they have that metal "nib" and if so, did you remove it / what is it for?

That was on the older straps. The Older PO's had a small hole drilled between the lugs so the strap wouldn't slip.

The ones Reg sells are newer and don't have that.
