Dead PAM 029 - Attempt to repair?

Got the watch back in 2013 and wore it for a few weeks until it randomly stopped running. Never dropped it or anything notable like that.

I did notice it had a noisy movement with rattling and kind of a crunch sound when winding.

I have taken the back plate off but have no idea what I’m looking at.

looking for advice on what to do as I’d like to get it running again since it is a really cool watch in the end.

Movement is a eta clone 2836 with added GMT module called hangzhou 6460. It should be pretty easy for any competent watchmaker to source one from ebay and do the swap, not forgetting to swap the date disc too. Swap is generally cheaper than fix with these movements.
