Wish my digital camera was working ok today, so I can post my 'one and only' Daytona seconds at 3. Just got it back from one of our modders here who gave it a good rehaut engraving AND a very nicely engraved crystal crown at the 12 o'clock spot. Can't wait to where it at my local AD. That'll show 'em! :cheers:

Wow, which seller did you get this from?? it has good finishing lugs and SEL. I might try it.
Those pictures on the site are horrible and don´t do the Daytona any justice.
....as I´ve shown on the wristchecks, I´ve got an a21j version of this and I´m pretty much satisfied with the watch.
The dial is an attention-getter, and changes its hue according to light conditions, and the ceramic bezel is quite accurate in color. Watch is superlumed, but wrongly in GREEN, not as per GEN (gen is blue chromalight, the same blue lume as the Ceramic Subs and all the new Rolex sport line).
I´m enjoying it for sure!

You really have to see the real deal. Simply gorgeous - and i'm normally fanatic with the classic toolbeaters like the Sub and the SD/DSSD.

Is yours a 21j also? If so what td did you get it from.

I think it's exactly the same like Spirit's - it's also 21J. I got it from my local dealer here in Germany.

@Spirit: Wich clasp does your Tona have? Mine had the classic Daytona one, wich is wrong for this model. I took a spare clasp i had from a Explorer II and polished the mid. Now it's accurate and extremely comfortable.

For those who asked, yes, mine and hautehorloge are exactly the same watches/model, powered by a21j movement, with faux chrono subdials and running big seconds hand.
Mine was bought from a local dealer nearby here in my country also. So I can´t tell which of our TD´s would carry those, but shooting mails with provided pics would help to source it.

Yep my friend, mine came with the usual Daytona clasp which is wrong for the model, but I didn´t change mine yet, as I don´t have a GMT spare clasp lying around so far, and as they are completely identical from the outside, it won´t be that relevant while the watch is on the wrist. Later on I will see if I can source one and change clasps, but I´m happily wearing mine so far

...The bracelet on mine feels pretty solid and with a nice finishing, and was particularly impressed with the SEL fitting on this one, as it´s pretty tight and absolutely well done.
One bad thing about it is that this factory of Daytonas make the SELs with a peculiar shape on the inside, making it not possible to fit another bracelet on it other than the one that comes with the watch.
...If you try to do so, you won´t be able to make the springbar align with the holes and set the bracelet correctly. It won´t hold there at all, and neither will be in the right position against the case.
Not a problem for me tho...as the fitment on these is perfect from the start.

You can use every Glidelock clasp you may have laying around. As i said, i used a Explorer II one wich i polished in the middle. Works and looks very good.
Here the result of my polishwork, i also removed the famous "Winner" engraving on the caseback. And pPPPed of course, like you.
First time I see this model, and I think it looks great.
The blue and brown colorscheme make it look playful and a real eyecatcher without screaming "it's a Rolex!"
