Before Rolex started manufacturing their own in house chrono movements around the year 2000, they used Zenith movements in the Daytonas. They were seconds at 9 movements, just like this, rather than seconds at 6. So this is actually a rep of a real Daytona that is not prone to the infamous "seconds at 6" problems. They also haven't been available for quite some time.

thanks for your reply. I know about the Zenith movement but not it isn't reped as much as the new movement. What has been the problem with the sec@6 movement?

it has problems with gears
the switch from 9-6 which makes it a time bomb if ever works

I bought a cheap faux chrono for my wife and want to upgrade to a.7750. Do you have the one with the pink dial and pink strap???
