Daytona rep or gen tuff to decide

I would like some feedback. I have a friend of mine that’s always a show off and he brags a lot so I was wondering if you couldn’t WkL me if his latest daytona is real. His gets a ton of watches but I showed some pics to a jeweler and he said some could be fake but not sure. Here are some pics please give me your thoughts

He said he bought this new on his cruise but I’ve been on money cruises and I have never ever seen a watch you can be on a cruise to the Bahamas that’s comes in a box like that from Australia no less

i think so,but im not 100% sure,by looking at the thin subdial numbering and no gold shine like effect on the subdial

maybe daytona experts could chime in

Rep with misplaced markers at 6, 7 and 8 I guess. I´d ask for another. With a better pic and higher resolution one could at least see something.

that daytona is ARF rep IMO because there are so many red flags
1. the box is exactly like the ARF box - even the barcode matches...
2. your friend's daytona's dial font looks so comical, especially the red "DAYTONA" font is floating like the ARF font
3. the ARF dial's "SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER" wording doesn't extend all the way beneath the 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock indices like gen

definitive way to test your friend's daytona (to see if it is an ARF daytona) is to start the chrono and see if the other sub-dials (minutes and hour) also work

I guess some people want to look the big man, but I really don’t get the passing rep off as gen thing. I love watches gen or rep. I don’t much care what anyone else thinks I own or am worth and am generally quite happy for my watches to go unnoticed. If asked I’m quite open about saying a watch is fake.

Actually I know a guy who is worth well into seven figures, but wears a canal street Rolex all the time. He has at least a couple of really nice watches, but isn’t much interested. He wears the rep because his kids got for him and doesn’t give a damn what anyone thinks about it. That Watch means the world to him

i have 5 gen 4 reps i bought here and 3 custom mods i bought here THAT I LOVE! . I dont think I would buy a rep anywhere but here because this is the only place i trust... Also I don't think it matters to me, I buy them because I like them, I do not make any effort to pass off one as a Gen because whats the point. I just where what i like.

P.S. but I do love calling someone out and i knew these were but I dont have the trained I yet the you pros do so I thank you in helping me discover what I sorta new was already true LOLOLOL
