Thank you for catching that, haven't posted that often. Will definitly pay attention to where I post next time.Bro srsly, do you know that you posted this in the eye candy and wristshot section? If so, why did you think that it was the correct spot to post this?
@P..DR..D Pls move this to the repair & modifications section when you get the chance. Thx bud!
I have the CF v3 Panda also and just ordered the Deep crystal from Xing_Patrick. I also purchased a press to do this, first time. I will post before and after pics.I’m curious as well. I just ordered the CF v3 Panda and the deep crystal. Guess I’ll find out soon enough.
My understanding is that the crystal wasn’t upgraded on the v3, so it’s still using the same crystal as the v2 (which is cloudy).
I ordered my deep crystal from Steve, who offered to press it for me (so likely will only be able to post after pics).I have the CF v3 Panda also and just ordered the Deep crystal from Xing_Patrick. I also purchased a press to do this, first time. I will post before and after pics.

If it makes you feel any better, I decided to not go ahead with it. He informed me the v3 crystal was already upgraded from the v2.Dang it! I did not realize Steve could mod watches I order! He just shipped me a clean v3 Daytona Panda and I didn’t think to ask about the crystal! Now I have to order a crystal too…. FACK…

The crystal QC shots I received looked pretty clear to me, so I asked him if I could drop the request. He said he would refund me the price for the deep crystal. What a guy!
Did Steve give any specifics on what those upgrades are on the xtal?If it makes you feel any better, I decided to not go ahead with it. He informed me the v3 crystal was already upgraded from the v2.

No specifics other than that the crystal is more clear compared to the v2.Did Steve give any specifics on what those upgrades are on the xtal?
Any updates on this? Very curious to know whether or not you see a difference with a swapped crystal!I have the CF v3 Panda also and just ordered the Deep crystal from Xing_Patrick. I also purchased a press to do this, first time. I will post before and after pics.
Still waiting on the crystal, should be here any dayAny updates on this? Very curious to know whether or not you see a difference with a swapped crystal!
How you can take before and after photos!Still waiting on the crystal, should be here any day
I just bought nine Deep crystals from Patrick including five for Daytonas. Glad to hear it can be done by a first timer! My repost from the deep thread on my install today:
Did my first one on my CF V3 Panda today. Have to say it does make a noticeable difference/improvement. Used this excellent tutorial (https://forum.replica-watch.info/th...t-guide-my-experience-guidance-only.10881737/) as it was my first time disassembling a Daytona bezel and everything went pretty smooth.
I found aligning the LEC on the crystal to be fairly hard as it was so hard to actually see the crown imprint against the white dial but other than that pretty straight forward. Had to redo the bezel press once as it got slightly jostled off center when placing into the press the first time. Take your time, protect all surfaces you can and you should be fine.
Only downside is I own 2 more Daytonas and a No Date sub that all need xtals now... damnnit.
Forgive the weird strap - waiting on my Oysterflex and CF endlinks for this one and didn't want to refit the OE bracelet.

Curious, did you remove the movement as per the guide? Seems unnecessary as the author does eventually admit. My repost from the deep thread on my install today:
