This one's a 6238/9 transitional, it's about 90-95%.

My true love is the 6238, but I didn't want to spring for the $1500+ Phong case. So I got a DW 6239 case and put the 6238 Phong dial ($400) in there. Movement is a V72 Wittnauer which still needs to be serviced, subdial hands will be changed for black, but I kinda like the white hands- very subtle.

Gen T-21, gen crown and aftermarket tube, Ofrei pushers and a gen 78350 bracelet with 571 end pieces.

A few months ago I saw this watch on VRF- a 6238 with the 6239 bezel- it's what got me going on my watch.

In the future, I may get a smooth 6238 bezel, but for now I'm enjoying my transitional!

The watch went from black subdial hands to this- a Phong 6238 case and the same old Phong dial with the crazy open 6s and 9
