Decided to pick up a couple of Daytona’s when I got my VSF sub. Been an itch for a while so wanted to see them in person.

ARF Daytona 116508 white dial and noob 116509 blue dial. I can pick up a gen dial and bezel for a reasonable price for the 509 so may become a franken project.

Two great choices bro. I love my blue dial 509. Mine is the older Noob dial on a 7750 that I still plan to swap into a newer 4130 Noob. Another project in the never ending queue. Like so many other examples, this older blue dial is better IMO. It has sunbursts in the subdials. I think Noob purposely made lower quality dials in their 4130s so they had room for sure thing upgrades down the road. A gen dial in your Noob 509 would be great.

This dial takes on a lot of different hues.

May I ask what is a ‘reasonable price’ for a 509 gen dial? I have been looking at this blue 509 for a while but the quality of the current dial is stoping me

Haha I know the feeling mate. These are a result of my blusey franken on hold. Im more inclined to keep the 509, dial
swap as you say the current noob one is underwhelming, no sub dial sunburst and can pick up a ss bezel or white gold.

the 508 is a quilty pleasure though, few gen dials available on chrono....and bezels! But do I want to put that ££ in a plated rep. Got some decisions to make.

All personal opinion obv but I have seen them going blistered for around 2-2.5k and have seen some selling for 900-1.1k. That to me is more reasonable that 2.5k!

What you guys think of the custom dial from watchesparts as a replacement? 300$ might be a bit stiff but what about the quality?

If only they got the end links right on the 509.... that, in my opinion, is a bigger tell than the dial.
