Having said that, it's much closer than ANY other rep PVD coating.

Some guys hit DSN's pvd with a cap cod cloth, and get it pretty good. Personally I like it the way it comes new from him. He uses the real PVD process.
Very nice in my opinion.

I have just bought 2 cases fron DVDson Yes the best and nearest real pvd coating is his cases but I agreed that it is little bit rought

i agree here....DVSN's PvD is the best....and real. allthe other PVD watches are not real PVD, they are just carbon nitrated -if that at all.

Also, like said above, my friend used the CC cloth on his. Not too shabby, but i also like it just how it comes.

I should have picked this style of dial. I couldn't decide so I went with the sandwich dial because it had C1 superluminova.

I also hit mine with a Cape Cod cloth.

DSN is currently working on a brand new PVD case, using slightly different method. Stay tuned

On the other hand, his current PVD cases are closest to the real thing, just slightly darker than they should be, and more matte in finish. Panerai used specific PVD process which resulted in charcoal or pencil gray finish, the one no PVD makers have been able to achieve so far. Jack @IWW is getting close (refuses to PVD rep cases now), Finepic's one (while he was in the game, he used one of European PVD coaters) is similar to Jack's, but still not quite the same as gen.

For the time being, get the existing DSN PVD case, work a little Cape Cod magic into it, and wear the heck out of it - the more you wear it and expose to daily "grind", the better the overal PVD look.
