Davidsen's 005

Ok, so given that DSN's new dials are the hottest thing in this forum right now, and that he is coming up with more in the next few weeks, what are your opinions about his current 005? (as I'm assuming that these aren't going to be updated with the new batch)

I just can't seem to shake off the open caseback. So, I think I'm gonna go for the 005 logo. Besides, it will be cheaper.

Especially from anyone who purchased DSN 005 logo, opinions about the Davidsen 005's dial, font, overall look, etc?

Not sure if I read you correctly but DSN's 005 doesn't have a open caseback.

I like my PAM005 from DSN, but also eagerly awaiting his upgraded 005 dial (confirmed with him via PM). It should be out this week or next.

The current one that I have doesn't have a dial that looks as good as those from Andrew et al. There are other comments on the board, but why not wait for DSN's new release

just tell David you want a see through caseback...thats no prob....and he will put it on for you ! no worries....i also always need to have one !!

The other issue is his sausage dials, which includes the new 005, the number/markers are mint green not off white/yellow and therefore incorrect. I just had vacuum redo the dial with C1 to tone it down and make it look more correct. Also with the sausage dial the quality of the superlume is not very good. This issue includes the 082, 195 and 005. Some factory is using the very same batch of pigment and C3 to create these green dials for all of these dials.

Rogerwine, you so crack me up...is it more of a polish sausage or a hot dog sausage....?
believe it or not, i was talking to lovepanerai a few weeks ago, and i also said....the lume looks like sausages on a plate.

Horologie_Unitas. While it should be a Kielbasa or a Blutwurst, it sadly turns out to be a vienna cocktail wiener. or like my southern friends say "a slimjim on a hot dashboard".
