Davidsen PVD 009

I am interested in getting a Davidsen PVD 009. Just not familiar with the correct spec.

- Is the 009 a sandwich dial..?
- What kind of lume it suppose to be..? Should it be the super lume or vintage lume..?
- Can you get a Swiss movement without the recessed pinion problem..?

I hear much talk about the minutae of DavidSen's watches.. the length of the hands... the colour of the lume... the accuracy (or otherwise) of the CGs.

I am not qualified to comment on these details.

I have had my DavidSen 195 for a little over a week... and have trouble taking it off my wrist at night.

From a distance, it looks impressive. Up close, it is awesome.

The reason is the case. Every edge, every angle, is crisp and perfect. The cases on my polished Panerai are soft by comparison. Has nobody else commented on the excellence of the DavidSen Pam case?

This, alone, is reason enough to get a DavidSen Pam.... you owe it to yourself.

I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase mine from a fellow collector on another board... although I expect he comes here too. So it is worth mentioning that the transaction with Ravishing rick was faultless.. in fact he went above and beyond the call of duty.

I concur. I really don't wear anything else right now, I have the same watch. I want a Fiddy in the worst way. You can't go wrong with Davidsen.
