Anyone pulling the trigger on this one? Finish looks great and so do the dials. I looked for pics on gens for these guys and the ones I came across look pretty good.
Any glaring flaws the experts can comment on?

real pvd + swiss movt + saphire ...fair price..if you check with some firms that make pvd the cost of the process will be near the price of his final produt...

agreed enzo...no matter the dial looks like pre-V or an A series, they are still very very nice, lots of hardwork...

Just placed my order too. Went with the 202a dial.
Also found a shot of the gen with the back off. Swiss Unitas movement , very similar, if not the same to the one Davidsen is installing. All in all, a very nice looking piece and deal.

He just replied to me in the last hour of my last post. PVD can and will scratch, not your everyday banger. But a Pam with real PVD coat, nice desirable vintage Lumed dials, AR coat, Swiss Unitas, ect. $300.00???
The case alone can be changed out with other dials, and movement. Too me, a Totally screaming deal. Now the saddest part...

WAITING... [smilie=icon_thumright.gif]

Oh ok ..

Now I know about it ..Thanks for the info enzo...well so like you said..a watch tools need less extra care ...:):)...about the price...like you guys said .. its a good deal...for me too its good deal to read alot about it recently ..

Well anyway ..price does matter to me ..coz..im below middle class citizen...and to convert to my currency ..really put me off alot of deals..even its just in my dream to own a really nice rep panerai with almost 98% reps ..becoz the price for all this swan neck swiss movement way beyond wat I can pay after the conversion currency ..

thanks anyway...but I've already ordered the PVD from davidsen...hopefully he will reply soon...and if i can get this deal..this is the first panerai, pvd, and also a watch that way above my standard of living ...:):)
hopefully everthing will be fine and the watch will come soon ..by early of next month ...

PVD rules...

cheers

I just sent in my deposit. I have one of the old PVD logos. This does not do it justice. Any one want a PVD logo for cheap???

ENZO, NICE COMP, got one coming

@ Enzo, liked that shot of the gens. I pulled the trigger (btw, that's what we also say in the investment industry when we buy securities) on a 202a + brown. Hadn't been contemplating a PVD until I saw this run, as I didn't want merely a 'painted-on' finished verison, and frankly, I don't have the time/knowledge base to get blasting etc set-up myself.

Does anyone know if the crown's finish tends to degrade with use?
