I think both should be without AR, the 24A for sure.

Panerai started using AR coatings with their C series watches, so the 025D likely *should* have AR coating. Although, as with all things Panerai, inconsistency is the norm, so anything is possible. Honestly, I would swap the crystal on the 025 out with a cyrstal from one of the "Ultimate" autos and be done with it. Perhaps get Taka to AR coat it, to boot!

@COLDI - yes, the 024A is awesome and a truly coveted piece. The 025 has a better crown and CG (the inside corners of the CG are still too rounded, but all rep CGs are), though. I've heard rumor that DSN will be releasing a 025A rep later this week, as well. I'm interested to see what that looks like before I commit to buying one of these.

Yep, that's it. I like the bezel with no hash marks, but I'm not sure it's enough to put that watch over the top compared to the 024A, for me.

Decisions, decisions....

I actually like the hash marks on the other models, so i went ahead and ordered the 24D ( asian ) ....
Now i just have to sit and wait for the postman to arrive :mail:

Good choice, Mambo. The cyclops is slightly too big (7.5mm instead of 6mm), and it should have AR, I believe, but these are wonderful watches.
