I have just received the hands and dials today. Lume wise, they are very good especially the hands. Glow as bright as my gen Omega SMP. However for the dial, luminosity is not that good (comparable to a high end rep PAM dial).

nice pictures, enzo is it possible to swap the CN cannon pin with the short one in a swiss eta movement? If so, I can buy the CN movement and swap parts...

hack the second hand? That's sounds nice...

my next idea is if it is possible to swap the bridges from a 036 movement onto a CN movement and put it back into the 036 case...that would be nice.

Well,

it seems to me the New cn 6497 movt has provided with lots of fun for DIY mod players in all
these forums.

Enzo is correct that cn parts is very likely that exchangable to the swiss counterpart. For
example for the High cannon shaft parts. For other finer parts i really have no idea.

I did try to buy only the xL cannon up grade parts from my movt supplier and would like to offer
these up grade kits to replace the swiss kits. But for some stratagic reasons, they simply declined
my request.

copying the up grade kits is not difficult at all.My major conern is wheter there is enough
demand to justify the tooling costs in making them. From a mfg point of view, makign hundred
of thse kits will not jsutify the tooling at all.Making thoudasnd of them might. But will there be
that qty in demand which i doubt very much.

Thus buying the cn movt and using its XL kits on as swiss movt looks like an easy way or short cut
indeed.

One last question from me.

I know membes ar paying us$35/set for the kit itself.

Will you pay us$25 to us$30 for a cn up grade kits???

I need this info to work out my tooling cost investment or payback.

I wil run a poll on this soon to find out.
