But... It's already on it's way back to China :( Something must have happened during shipping because the movement was loose in the case. I was soooooo bummed because the watch looked incredible!!! The case and sapphire were just so pretty. David is a great guy. I contacted him within 45 minutes of the watches arrival and he said to send it right back and he would make sure it got taken care of. It's REALLY nice to know that our dealers are honorable honest people. Thank you David! :)

Davidsen's the man who will stand behind his product....

Hope you'll get your 005 soon....

Sometimes shipping does nasty things to our beloved time pieces...

I got one of the watches that had a loose movt as well, but I had David send some tabs that hold the movt in pl;ace. Very easy to do, once you get the caseback off.

you should have tried to open it up yourself. Mine came with the loose movement too, but the tabs just needed to be tightened, then it was perfect :)

When I sent my 201a back just sent it global priority. Cost $5. The only thing is you should not send it in a way that requires a signature as it is a P.O. Box that you send it to.

Not all us feely comfy opening up our PAMs - rather prefer get them in good working order.

No criticism implied - good for you if you can do minor repairs.

Some of us collect the pieces but don't necessarily have the tools / skills / time / inclination to do additional work. That's good for the Ziggys and Joes of this world! Specialization of labor ... great economic concept.

I wish he would switch back to the old CG, these new CG's are probably the biggest flaw now ...

i agree..the lever does not sit as close to the case as it should because of the big crown guard and it's sticking out like a sore thumb, literally..

Oh I opened her up and tinkered with it. I tightened the mounting screws but it was still loose, so rather than dive into a brand new movement i figured it would be best to just get it replaced. If I didn't have the option I' would have tried more things but since David was so accommodating I just left it up to him. He said his swiss movement (with no cannon pinion problem) should be out soon so I may just upgrade. :D

That doesn't sound right, talk to David San. It may be a defective AR coating, or just finger smears. In any case, I'd talk to him to see if you can exchange for a trouble free one.

Well my returned 005 should be in David's hands by now. In addition to fixing the movement he agreed to put one of his new crown guards on too!

Well, the 005 is on it's way back home! David really took care of me and swapped the movement out for a new one! I'll be sure to post many pics when it arrives!
