Hello everyone,


Wanted to share my experience with @xingpatrick on my recent order with him : Datejust 41mm Silver Dial modd by him ! After a lot of research on RWI forum about modds and XING watch, i decided to pull the trigger and contact XING on what’s app.


Here’s what I chose for:

Build Specifications:
  • Base: Clean Factory
  • Dial: Silver GEN
  • Hands: GEN
  • Datewheel: GEN
  • Crystal: GEN
  • Smooth Bezel: GEN

Total cost: I got a good price including shipping to France.


Timeline:
  • Our conversation started on December 5. Patrick was available to answer me, then I paid on PayPal, he told me to wait the QC pics, so I’m waiting.


If you're a serious, XING will be serious and honest with you. He’ll get back to you when he can, and it's clear he wants to give each project the attention it deserves.

He assured me that i will receive my watch before december 20th, i hope he said truth haha

Now I’m just waiting any update from him, I’ll let you know.

Lucky man… I hope it will be the same for me, but I’m still waiting the QC pictures, I thought that he have the watch in stock but I think no, he has to sources it with all GEN parts so it will take one week.

Hi Adam, I started communicating with Patrick and I’m going to move forward with DJ jubilee and Fluted bezel. All other specs the same as yours. I’m direct depositing to his account and it might take a bit longer than yours.
I had really good chat conversation with Patrick on WhatsApp and I admire his candid and honest suggestions!!
Can’t wait to see the watch on my wrist!!

Yes this a good person and take time to explain and advise you. You did well to start a DJ with him because I think he his the best for that (price and quality). Now you have just to wait like me, he is quiet silent since the deposit but i think it’s normal => busy man

Till now, no update, Xing is quiet

Still waiting any news/update from him :)

10/12/2024 : “your watch be installed today”
11/12/2024 : “your watch be ready tonight”
12/12/2024 : nothing has been done …

I don’t know how to react but I’m waiting …

When i ordered and paid for this Dj modd watch, I told him that I would like to receive the watch before 25 December and he said yes, so I’m waiting but it’s a little bit annoying because he doesn’t always answer and he is quiet but I keep faith in him

Patience…this isn’t Amazon. The watch may be “ready,” but he needs to take QC photos and videos. And yours isn’t the only order in his queue. I’m a long time customer of Patrick. This is all normal.

I said nothing wrong about Xing, I’m just saying what it’s happening haha I know that he have a lot of work and I’m not only the one, I’m waiting, I’m cool and I don’t put too much pressure on him. :)

Xing can make gen custom builds. I don't doubt him on that. He's made me a few builds already.

What I'm emphasizing is the deadline/time. OP basically was commenting about how long it was taking for his build.... but it was only 1 week since he had paid.....

In fact in that post there is a disclaimer that you may have to wait when they source certain gen dials....
